As part of our Indigenous Food Sovereignty activities we are pleased to announce an upcoming Canadian Firearms Safety Course for band members! The successful completion of this one day course (Th. Apr. 28 OR Fr. Apr. 29, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Family Centre) will allow participants to apply for their Possession and Acquisition License (PAL). The registration fee will be covered by the band, and snacks and lunch will be provided. Transportation will also be available by request. Family Centre 9:00 am – 6:00 PM

Participants must complete the full one day course in order to apply for A “possesion and Acquisition license” (PAL). Maximum 12 Participants per day (AGE 16 AND UP CAN TAKE THE COURSE BUT MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY FOR the PAL). Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Transportation provided by request. Course materials will be supplied.
