JOB DUTIES
- Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and order
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Following appropriate dress code for safe food handling
- Monitoring a managing cooking tools and ingredients
- Developing and following a set menu
- Monitor stock and place orders when needed
- Proven experience as a cook is an asset but not a requirement
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL
- Safe food handling or willing to get it
- Experience working with children
- The ability to drive independently
- Must successfully complete Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
CONDITIONS
- Must agree to drug testing as outlined in the Mistawasis Nêhiyawak Fit For Duty Policy.
