Are you interested in becoming a Housing Committee member under the Mistawasis Nêhiyawak Housing Policy as per Part 4 Section 4.2, 4.2.1, 4.2.2 & 4.2.3.
Housing Committee will consist of 5 Registered Band Members
Term shall be staggered – 3 for 1 year term and 2 for 2 year term
If appointed, a member of the Housing Committee must:
- Understand and agree to enforce the Housing Policy
- Agree not to engage in nepotism or participate in decisions in which he or she is in a conflict of interest;
- Adhere to the Fit for Duty Policy
- Sign an Oath of Confidentiality
- Providing a current CPIC; and
- If he or she is a tenant, must be in compliance with the Housing Policy
