Job Description
The responsibilities include: Communicating with customers and assisting with any needs or questions.
Completing septic pump runs in a timely and efficient manner. Year-round yard maintenance, keeping Misty Petroleum grounds safe and tidy. They must have experience working with equipment, be comfortable working independently, be dependable, and be safety-minded.
Duties
- Excellent customer service in all your interactions. Assist with all customer questions, concerns, and complaints.
- Driving a septic pump truck to homes, farms, job sites, or businesses
- Locating septic tanks (sometimes digging up access lids)
- Connecting large suction hoses
- Pumping out sewage and waste from septic tanks
- Transporting waste to an approved disposal or treatment facility
- Ability to handle monetary transactions responsibly and accurately
- Grounds Keeping
- Mowing lawns and trimming edges, Pruning shrubs
- Weed control around buildings and fences
- Minor repairs and maintenance to buildings and grounds
- Picking up trash and debris, sweeping the entrance and walkways Leaf removal in fall
- Snow shoveling and salting in winter
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards and policies.
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and accountable for their actions. Be punctual and dependable for scheduled shifts.
- Maintains a high level of sanitation and safety standards.
- Time management and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy items, walk, and stand throughout the shift
- Service station is open 7 days per week, and this position may include evenings and weekends as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Misty Petro Management.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License
- High School diploma or GED
- Outstanding organizational skills and Professionalism
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
